We are looking for Repairman Interior for CRYSTAL cruises - cruise vessel CRYSTAL SERENITY
Embarkation 29/December/2024
Contract 6 months +/-1
Salary in USD/per month worked - to be discussed during the interview
Must hold all valid Certificates, including certificates for passenger ships - STCW Reg.V/2
Job Summary:
Interior Repairman is classic Hotel Repairman who additionally must have experience with plumber duties - vacuum toilets, small pipe fitting and etc. In charge of maintenance and up-keeping of the vessel's Potable Water, Technical Water, Gray Water and Black Water systems in HOTEL areas.
Responsibility and authority:
- Ensure correct functioning of vessel's Evac system, and related appliances, by performing proper maintenance and upkeep
- Ensure vessel's plumbing in guest and crew areas is operational and free of leaks
- Respond to any call for intervention in guest and crew areas
- Ensure that all aspects of the company's environmental policy and procedure applicable to his job tasks are properly carried out including, but not limited to, the proper labeling of all hazardous material containers including those which may be temporarily used, the proper storage and containment of hazardous chemicals including paints and the proper application of the company's personnel protection program
- Ensure that chemicals that may be used in the cleaning or maintenance of the systems under his care are approved by the company for use
- Any additional duty as required by the Hotel Engineer and Staff Chief Engineer
- Maintenance on All galley equipment & machinery
- All Hotel pantries
- Maintenance on Main Laundry
- Guest & crew Laundrette
- Maintenance of Guest and crew gym equipment
- Sliding doors and fire doors in public areas
- Water fountains
- All bars (undercounter dishwater, general maintenance any steel job)
