Position Description:
Chef de Partie Required for Silversea Cruises a 6* Luxury Cruise Ship!
We are currently searching for an experienced Chef de Partie who can supervise any type of outlet, whether it’s a small intimate fine dining degustation menu, Italian specials menu, 6 course country based menu which changes daily, crew restaurant or even an outdoor bbq grill.
Supervising a small team, your role is to ensure that every plate in your outlet is up to our very high standards, meets both presentation and taste expectations and the galley meets all health, safety and food hygiene standards.
As part of the supervisory team for the galley, you will also be involved in food hygiene inspections, stock control, ordering, rostering and training.
The role is diverse and as a chef and supervisor, you would need to be to!
To be considered for this position, you would require:
A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory chef role in a fine dining establishment
Have experience of working in a multi-national team
Work with regularly changing menus (on ships they change daily)
Training and developing of team
Fluent English
Culinary qualifications
Contracts are 6 months on and 2 months off, all flights, meals, uniforms and shared accommodation provided.
