Position Description:
Baker Required for Silversea Cruises a 6* Luxury Cruise Ship
We are currently searching for an experienced Baker who can run their own section to provide high quality breads and pastries for fine dining outlets, Italian speciality menus, 6 course country based menu which changes daily, crew restaurants, Asian speciality restaurants as well as breakfast products.
Your role is to ensure that every piece of freshly baked bread, croissant, Danish pastry, cake, breadstick and so much more is up to our very high standards, meets both presentation and taste expectations and your section meets all health, safety and food hygiene standards.
Taking responsibility for your own area means being involved in food hygiene inspections, stock control, ordering, rostering and training.The role is diverse and as a Baker you would need to be to!
To be considered for this position, you would require:
A minimum of 3 years working as a Baker catering for multiple nationalitiesHave experience of working in a multi-national teamWork with regularly changing menus (on ships they change daily)Training and developing of teamFluent EnglishCulinary qualifications
