Position Description:

Our staff-to-guest ratio is 1.7 staff to 2 guests, and this allows us to offer personal, hands-on and friendly service from the first point of contact to the end of the voyage. Our crew comes from every corner of the world, and are the men and women at the heart and soul of our brand.
We are looking for few FITTER-MECHANICS, ready to join cruise vessel AZAMARA ONWARD ( temporary employment only - repositioning the vessel without guests )
Contract 2 months +/-1
Salary in USD/per months worked - to be discussed during the interview.
Additional notes:
- Excellent spoken and understanding of English language
- Must be able to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Previous experience on board cruise vessels
- Overhauling and maintaining mechanical equipment throughout the vessel.
- Carry out welding, including TIG and MIG as required
- Be highly skilled in the operation of various motorized machine shop tools including drill press, lathe, grinder, etc.
- Carry out fabrication and repair to various steelworks, including aluminium and stainless steel.
- Fabricate, install and repair general plumbing systems and components, working in steel, copper, and various composite materials.
- Assist with the overhauling of propulsion and auxiliary systems when necessary.
- Assist in the repair, overhaul and general maintenance of the following systems and equipment (under the direct or indirect supervision of the engineers onboard): AC Systems / Engine Systems / Safety and Security equipment / Electrical and Electronic Systems
