The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
Contribute to a secure and stable operation and to ensure modernization roadmaps can be built on both the experience and technology directions.
Work on projects/activities designing future platforms and solutions together with Cloud Platform and Cloud Services Teams.
Contribute to data centre consolidations and modernization, and Equinor’s mergers and acquisitions internationally.
Collaborate closely with other teams on IT Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance.
Plan, facilitate and execute relevant/prioritized improvement activities.
Provide advise related to IT Infrastructure to internal customers and application teams.
Collaborate with other technology teams and internal business customers.
Work towards a broad range of tasks, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
You

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or related fields (Working experience may compensate for formal education).
5+ years relevant experience preferred, but candidates with less experience will also be considered.
Experience with IT infrastructure management (Linux/Unix environment) in traditional data centres and cloud platforms, preferably from large environments.
Experience from various IT areas, like application management, network, servers, databases, containers.
Experience with RedHat and/or CentOS is preferred. Experience with Azure and knowledge of mission critical IT infrastructure is a plus.
Conscious about security, resilience, compliance, and risk mitigation with an interest in Information Security.
Proactive, curious and engaged, and eager to learn together with others.
Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
