The position

By joining our team in CFO Functional Center of Excellence you will have the opportunity to:
  • Develop standardized and automated solutions within the cost allocation area. 
  • Advise on allocation solutions for corporate initiatives, organizational changes, services, and products. 
  • Advise business areas in Equinor on cost allocation solutions. 
  • Govern and maintain cost pool allocation methods in steering documents. 
  • Set-up and maintain financial master data including inter-company allocation of cost. 
  • Financial closing for cost allocation in the Equinor group. 
  • Be involved in the overhead audit of Equinor operated activity. 

This role is in our Cost Pool and Master Data (CPMDteam within Audit and Allocation Solutions (AAS). The CPMD team in AAS has the responsibility for cost pool allocation solutions withinin Equinor including the financial closing for cost allocation in the company.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or another relevant subject. 
  • Previous working experience in Finance, as an analyst or in cost allocation. 
  • Previous experience working in a global context, or within a large organisation and with associated subsidiaries. 
  • You may also have an interest in IT architecture, or hold previous experience using related systems and tools, in particular SAP.
  • Knowledge of cost allocation principles and the Joint Operating Agreement/Accounting Agreement would be an advantage. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
