You will create innovative solutions to enable robust and low-cost prints with outstanding print quality, for a wide range of media and applications. Your challenge is to master the inkjet triangle by balancing printhead, ink and media interactions. You will be responsible for multi-ink design using advanced ink design methods, and taking into account interactions with inkjet printheads and a wide range of media. You will engineer the inks, for example in pilot plants, and transfer results to factory production at the correct and proven quality level.

A good example…

is the Océ VarioPrint i300, a revolution in cutsheet inkjet production printing. It has for example an ingenious paper path that uses vacuum suction to hold sheets flat on its seamless, stainless steel paper transport belt. Sheets move through the Océ VarioPrint i300, printing up to 294 letter images per minute or 8,500 sheets per hour. Along the way, a 3D camera Sentry unit inspects, detects, and rejects sheets with imperfections. The ability to draw from multiple paper sources, automatic duplexing, and in-line connectivity to finishing equipment makes it an optimal device for Transaction, TransPromo, Direct Mail, Booklets and Manuals.

What we offer
Océ also offers you a unique challenge within an innovative global organization, with partners, suppliers and customers worldwide. You will have a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of product development projects.

• Able to communicate well with customers, managers and colleagues at all levels in the organization
• Analytical, with excellent organizational skills and a strong results-driven mindset
