Task Responsibilities:
Perform the Stockroom function
Manage the Cargolux Aircraft Spare Parts Inventory in Luxembourg.
- Place incoming and returned parts into stock
- Ensure that labelling and computer data is correctly updated, and that packaging and storage conditions are in accordance with policy
- Ensure timely, accurate data input
- Control shelf life of stored material
- Carry out stock transfers as required and performing physical inventory and cycle counts as scheduled by Department management
- Report to Material Planning parts not in stock (NIS) or at low stock level
Prepare and issue parts to internal and external Customers
- Pull and issue material from stock in accordance with lists supplied and on demand of the customer at the service area
- Be familiar with working in both Main Stockroom and P7 Stockroom
- Deliver parts on demand to the Mechanics at P7
Undertake general Material Control duties
- Control the requirement for main wheel support on Cargolux aircraft Fly Away Kits
- Perform Shipping and Receiving coverage when no Shipping / Receiving agent is on duty
- Work closely and maintaining good relationships with connected departments
- Maintain the work area and departmental vehicles in a clean and orderly state
