As a Warehouse Control Clerk, you will be responsible to:

  • Coordinate the cargo build-up and preparation to optimize the space utilization with the cargo handling agent.
  • Coordinate operations with other departments within the Luxembourg Cargo Hub.
  • Supervise the cargo flow through the Luxembourg Cargo Hub.
  • Instruct and share processes with the cargo handling agent.
  • Assist and escort customers when required.
  • Keep all the parties informed about the status and condition of their freight.
  • Maintain records of activities.
  • Contribute to team effort.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship with focus on logistics or equivalent 
  • Be fluent in English, French and German. Luxembourgish will be considered as an advantage
  • Have good knowledge of standard IT products, like MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to work on shifts in a team or alone
  • Communication skills to establish and maintain good customer relations
  • Ability to work precisely in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position based in Luxembourg.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
  • Rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night), including weekends and public holidays (24/7/365).
  • The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
  • Possbility for promotion after successfully completed trial period.
