Task Responsibilities:
The overall purpose and objective of the position is to design, deliver, and evaluate engaging and effective learning programs on a variety of regulatory and non-regulatory topics that enhance participant knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, course commissioners, instructional designers, and trainers to design engaging and impactful learning programs.
- Utilize a variety of learning methodologies, such as instructor-led training, e-learning, microlearning, workshops, and coaching. Create engaging training content, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other instructional materials. Regularly review training materials and content and adapt it as needed.
- Implement methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs, such as surveys, quizzes, and practical assessments. Gather feedback from training participants and course commissioners. Monitor and analyze training data regularly to measure the impact of training initiatives and identify areas for continuous improvements to the training content and delivery.
- Facilitate learning activities using a variety of instructional techniques, such as presentations, discussions, group activities, role-plays, and simulations, to cater to different learning styles and maximize participant comprehension. Facilitate virtual training sessions using web conferencing tools or virtual classrooms. Ensure smooth technology integration and an engaging learning experience for remote participants.
- As and when required assist the L&D administrative team with course scheduling, providing suggestions for service improvement, dealing with customer queries and providing customer support.
- Manage training logistics, including the setup of training rooms or virtual platforms, audiovisual equipment, and materials, to ensure a seamless training experience.
- Input participation and related evaluation data in the Learning Management System following training delivery. Follow-up with any required communications or reporting.
- Contribute to the maintenance of administrative processes; providing technical assistance to other instructors; evaluating and testing digital learning content; troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning and development to continuously improve training programs and delivery methods. In particular for facilitators, develop adult learning methodologies, facilitation techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance facilitation skills and expertise.
