What You'll Do:
Support and Coordination:
- Assist the Material Services Manager and the Materials Department.
- Coordinate and follow up on actions and projects between the Material Repairs Team, Critical Material Supply Desk (CMSD) Team, and Warranty Team, as well as with other departments when needed.
- Ensure a seamless operational link between the teams, the rest of the organization, and the manager for cohesive and efficient workflow.
Project Implementation and Follow-up:
- Support material management through project implementation and issue follow-up.
- CMSD:
- Implement proactive actions/projects to mitigate risks of Aircraft on Ground (AOG).
- Enhance parts pool management, support strategic customers, and improve communication with maintenance to streamline operations.
- Repairs:
- Implement projects (e.g., addressing parts obsolescence) and act as the liaison between the team, the rest of the organization, and external vendors.
- Help drive the team’s transformation towards prioritizing operational risk management.
- Warranty:
- Investigate new claim opportunities to mitigate the financial impact of technical issues on the company.
- Support urgent claims/issues, such as addressing the backlog of past accidents and damages covered by insurance to reduce policy costs or claiming Service Bulletin (SB) support before the filing window expires.
Risk Management and Optimization:
- Identify potential operational risks, initiate remedy procedures, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Optimize and create processes as needed.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Vendor Coordination:
- Coordinate actions/projects with external vendors (suppliers and customers) to improve parts availability.
- Identify and capitalize on new repair opportunities to achieve financial savings.
