Air Tractor AT-800 Series Technician

Task Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with the relevant aircraft technical manuals and instructions.
  • Carry out routine tasks/checks and rectify defects during line and base maintenance (including annual checks).
  • Ensure work is carried out following aircraft manufacturer's procedures and maintenance practices.
  • Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) .
  • Signing off work using correct and approved documentation.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Be holder of an EASA AML B1 and/or B2 license.
  • Experience in Air Tractor AT-800 Series aircraft maintenance will be considered as an advantage 
  • At least 5 years' experience acquired in the field (after the basic training) 
  • Being open-minded and relating comfortably with diverse groups of people 
  • Be fluent in English, other languages are considered as an advantage 
  • Ability to work in team as well as independently 
  • Have good, standard knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook 

Working Conditions:

  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
  • The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
  • The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment. 
  • Be prepared to travel when required.
  • Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365.
  • Willing to go on detachment during the aerial firefighting season, typically May to October (schedule would be 50% on, 50% off); detachments during winter season might also be possible.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
