As an Electrician for Aircraft Components, you will be responsible to:

  • Repair, overhaul & modify aircraft electro-mechanical components in the shop;
  • Perform all administrative steps of the job (e.g. work cards sign off, parts booking, time recording);
  • Operate test benches for troubleshooting and testing;
  • Assist in creating tools and test fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs and tests;
  • Operate shop tooling and test equipment;
  • Provide verbal and written hand-over of his work to team members and superiors.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship as electrician
  • Minimum two years experience in the repair of electrical and electronic components 
  • Good understanding of drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals and repair methods
  • Mature attitude, ability to work in a team and independently
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook),

 

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based in Luxembourg (Monday-Friday; 06:00-14:30)
  • The position holder works in the shop environment.
  • Occaisional flexibility outside the normal working schedule may be asked (within Luxembourg law and Collective Work Agreement regulations).
  • Occasional travel will be remunerated in accordance with Collective Work Agreement.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
  • The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
  • The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment.
  • The level of the position depends on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
  • The internal title would be "Mechanic Avionics Shop".
