Task Responsibilities:

The Cargolux Emergency Response Analyst provides support to emergency response readiness and crisis management operations, strengthening organizational resilience. The main objectives of this position is the maintenance of the Emergency Response Plan in compliance with industry requirements and best practices, guaranteeing the awareness and engagement of internal and external stakeholders, and the regular training and freshness of internal procedures and manuals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Emergency Response Plan and related resources up to date and in compliance with the regulatory framework, company requirements, and industry best practices
  • Research, analyze, and compile industry standards and best practices on a regular basis
  • Support the development of local Emergency Response Plans in collaboration with local authorities and airports
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to increase Cargolux Emergency Response awareness
  • Ensure emergency operations readiness and compliance in collaboration with Cargolux departments and stations
  • Coordinate mandatory annual training and simulation exercises provided to cross-functional teams supporting emergency response
  • Identify and implement solutions to continuously improve Emergency Response processes, tools, and systems

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Social Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to research, analyze, and interpret industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve emergency response challenges effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport at all levels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is a must, any other language is considered an advantage.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation in emergency response processes.
  • MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Previous training or experience in Emergency Response, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and/or Airline Safety Management is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
