Job Purpose and Summary

To follow the defined project management processes to execute the delivery of projects on time, with defined quality standards, resource planning and within budget whilst ensuring the satisfaction of the customer

  • Working with but not limited to Regional Project Management, Sales (Account Manager), Business Development Manager, Solutions Business Consultant and System Engineers to provide project implementation services for a product, solution and/or a service as required
  • Create and maintain project documentation including project plans, deployment plans, project processes and reports as required, and to produce management information and reports regarding progress, quality assurance, resources and risk
  • Take responsibility for maintaining the project document repository and ensuring documents are approved, controlled and archived properly
  • Responsible for project phase monitoring and coordinating between appropriate project management resources (internal, external/partners/customer) such as System Engineers, Service Engineers (Hardware), Sales Coordinators etc.
  • Ensure Sales and internal/client stakeholders are updated on project deliverables, milestones and issues as appropriate
  • Manage effectively the handover of customer’s project to the Operations department, effectively obtain the feedback from the customer and use this to continually improve the Canon project management offering and processes and continually work with Canon back office teams to ensure the process meets customer’s expectations
  • Use knowledge and lessons learnt to enhance and develop project governance framework and procedures including project lifecycle. Provide feedback and suggestions to the Regional Project Management team for Continuous improvement of processes.

What we ask

Must have/be: 

 

  • Certification in Associate Project Manager (APM)
  • Knowledge of the ITIL Framework
  •  Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt) - desirable
  • Experience of working with projects and knowledge of project cycle
  • Fluency in written and spoken English essential, knowledge of Arabic preferable
  • Current KSA driving license
  • Focus on quality with attention to detail
  • Pragmatic, task-oriented attitude, highly motivated, process oriented
  • Good planning, time management and scheduling skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrable experience of full project lifecycle and a good working knowledge of Managed Print Services
  • Problem solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft: Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook/ Project
  • Professional appearance, attitude and communication style
