Canon EMEA is looking for a Domain Architect ERP to work at our headquarters office in Amstelveen. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the domain architecture and roadmaps across ERP domains (Finance, Contract Management, Supply Chain) and will be initiating and supporting the delivery of projects implementing the identified technologies. You will work with the business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment to architecture guidelines & IT strategy establishing a consistent integration between domains.

As a Domain Architect - ERP, you will:
1) Own, define and maintain overall architecture across technologies for ERP domains for Finance, Contract Management and support with domains of Supply chain by ensuring:
- Alignment to business objectives and align the Mid-Term Plan to architecture guidelines and IT strategy
- Life cycle management of various tools & technologies within ERP Finance and the Contract Management domain.
2) Own, define and maintain a roadmap to achieve the target state. Work with business and IT stakeholders to define and align a portfolio of IT projects to deliver the roadmap. Sponsor new projects with significant architectural impact through approval in the Architecture Board
3) Give guidance and support to Solution adoption consultants & projects as (member of) the project design authority PDA in case of cross-domain changes
4) Define, develop and evolve architecture standards, guidelines, frameworks, management methods, processes and tools and propagate the usage of the same within the organization
5) Solution Control – Own scope/Solution direction for large projects/programs and lead or support:
- The creation of project "architecture direction" and “architecture definition ”in the vision statement of new initiatives
- Identification of components for the product backlog (lead in case of cross-domain specific projects, support in case of domain specific projects)
6) Champion Architecture management across the organization
7) Identify opportunities and help the business to shape their business strategy and support the MTP planning process by monitoring technology trends:
8) Ensure appropriate funding of architecture projects that aim to introduce architectural changes to simplify the current IT landscape
What we ask
As a Domain Architect ERP, you will need:
Technology skills:
- A bachelor or university degree with experience in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or a related technical field
- At least 10 years in IT with 5 years in application architecture and integration architecture.
- Professional experience will all aspects of an IT project from design through development, testing, implementation, and production
- In-depth knowledge of one or multiple key applications in the ERP domain – Finance, Contract Management & Supply chain.
- Professional experience with key applications and technologies in use in the enterprise, such as Oracle R12 EBS, Demantra, Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP ERP
- Awareness of relevant technologies in the wider industry, and their strengths and weaknesses
- Proficiency with at least one Enterprise Architecture framework or Enterprise Architect tool
- Expertise in IT-Management Processes and ITIL
Business skills
- Ability to challenge business requirements and to enforce defined architecture principles
- Ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders and explain complex technical issues to non IT-experts
- Understanding of key business processes and ability to manage a budget
- Ability to motivate and develop the Architecture team.
