Role & Department
Canon EMEA is looking for an EMEA Logistics Inventory Controller in the Business Operations – Supply Chain Management department. In this role you will be responsible for the control of one or multiple EMEA warehouses with regards to stock integrity, effective and efficient inventory management processes, while continuously seeking for opportunities to increase accuracy and 3rd party provider service levels and reduce cost and waste. Your key relationships will be with other business operations departments, NSOs/RSOs, other internal functions, external suppliers/vendors, consultants and auditors.

As an EMEA Logistics Inventory Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Managing stock integrity in terms of accuracy and quality in EMEA warehouses in close concert with 3rd party Logistic Service Providers;
  • Are accountable for KPI’s to be achieved by the 3rd party external providers with regards to inventory management processes/activities;
  • Are responsible for Canon Europa ERP and 3rd party systems synchronization and participate in systems upgrade or change projects;
  • Continuously search for and implement ways to improve inventory management processes and systems, and stock accuracy and quality against optimized costs;
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders;
  • Performing and supporting audits and tests to ensure effective risk mitigation in warehouse operations processes;
  • Leading projects in own area of responsibility and support projects in other Warehouse Operations areas, e.g. warehousing, inbound and outbound transportation, systems implementations and upgrades, etc.

What we ask

For this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s level education;
  • Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar field;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Ability to present to senior management;
  • Knowledge in ERP, BI and Transport and warehouse systems;
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
