Job Purpose and Summary

The Business group Canon Imaging Supplies is responsible for Canon’s paper and print media business in Europe.

For our Imaging Supplies (IS) division, Canon Europa NV is looking for a Manager Quality Assurance & Supplies Knowledge center. You are the owner of the Imaging Supplies Quality Management systems and related work processes. You are responsible for quality related supplier agreements and certificates. This includes setting and monitoring of quality KPIs and initiating preventive and corrective actions.

In this leading role you manage a team of Technical Product Specialists assuring the perfect match between Canon printers & Canon print media.

You daily tasks and responsibilities are divided in 4 main pillars:

Imaging Supplies Quality Management systems, related work processes & systems

  • Propose, implement and manage QA&P policies and processes for Imaging Supplies.
  • Setting and monitoring of Quality KPIs, initiating preventive and corrective Q actions.
  • Manage quality certificates and supplier quality agreements & specifications.
  • Secure compliancy with quality management systems (ISO, QMS - Canon Inc.).
  • Responsible for effective and efficient complaint handling for NSOs/customers.
  • Key focal point for Suppliers (e.g. Paper Mills) to secure Canon’s Quality requirements and manage quality escalations to external suppliers.
  • Complaint policy, processes and execution: effective and efficient complaint handling for NSOs/customers. 
  • Initiates, leads/supports projects to improve customer satisfaction and quality performance.

Test Lab – Supplies Knowledge Center

  • Responsible for facilities, equipment, people, work processes and test procedures.

 Technical Product Development

  • Steering of suppliers to generic needs/requirements of Canon Europe
  • Discuss, influence and agree product requirements and specifications with Lead customers and Strategic suppliers
  • Build network within Canon Production Printing, Canon Europe Londonand Canon Inc. to prepare for new printer introductions

Packaging

  • Key focal point to represent IS towards Supply Chain Management: set requirements for quality manuals, participate in converting, supply chain and packaging projects. Responsible to secure that quality aspects in Supply Chain Management processes are considered on decision making level.

What we ask

For this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience of which at least 4 years of QA/QC experience in relevant environment.
  • 4-5 years of managerial experience, give direction to team of professionals.
  • Experience in both technical and commercial oriented environments
  • Influence on management level.
  • Manage interests of multiple stakeholders cross – site in a project dealing  with conflicts of interest.
  • Integrate and coordinate multiple interests focused on QA improvement management systems and processes.
  • Planning & Organizing in a structured way.
