Canon EMEA is looking for a Solutions IT Consultant - ERP planning who will be responsible for driving the solution and adoption of IT improvements within the Supply Chain Management domain. This position is well suited for someone with Blue Yonder Demand & Supply Planning exposure who is looking to advance their career in application service delivery & operations. Furthermore getting the exposure towards the Oracle R12 SCM-MDM (Supply Chain Management & Master Data Management) area.
You will work on gathering business requirements and converting these into IT solutions and functional designs across Process, Data and Technology. And don't shy away from supporting Canon operations.

As a Solutions IT Consultant - ERP planning you will be responsible for:
- Gather/produce business process requirements and convert these into solution requirements across Process, Data, and Technology.
- Translate business process requirements into IT requirements and functional designs, and guide the IT solution towards business implementation.
- Assess the impact of the IT solution with the IT Factory to provide and verify estimates on effort, costs and timelines for project proposals.
- Guide, verify and approve the translation of the IT functional designs to IT solutions. Advice on any solution risks to direct related test plans. Follow and protect the design principles, such as no customizations and design for flexibility
- Drive Change Management and Adoption to ensure benefits are realized by:
- Facilitating change management/user adoption of the solution by providing expertise and good practice.
- Align with BU/ Function stakeholders to put in place key metrics (to be tracked by IT PMO) to give leadership visibility and insight into the usage and adoption of the platform.
- End to end oversight to ensure that new features are adopted appropriately.
- Act as Functional Solution Guardian – Manage functional template boundaries (data, process, technology) and agree deviations with Solution Control.
- Align with BU/ Function stakeholders to put in place key metrics (to be tracked by IT PMO) to give leadership visibility and insight into the usage and adoption of the platform.
- Provide production support at request of IT Operations and directed by the Principal / Lead Consultant:
- Review and approve all application changes resulting from problem management.
- Participate in incident analysis and problem resolution where expertise is required and / or where the issues are complex or impact multiple processes.
- Participate in trend analysis of all incidents and Root Cause Analysis of Major/Top incidents. Drive resulting improvements preventing reoccurrence by either technical refactoring that can be absorbed in project releases or propose changes for budget approval.
- Contribute to the Domains and Communities of Practice. Maintain the IT knowledge base of the Domain (baseline documentation).
- Apply data migration, release management, and SOD controls relevant for Solutioning & Adoption.
- Lead projects as a project assignment.
- Working together with IT Architect team.
- Driving changes and projects from delivery (Scope, timeline and budget) following the Canon IT Governance
- Apply the allocation (charging) of personal time as directed by the Principal / Lead Consultant.
- Exposure to manage Operations within ERP landscape (ticket intake, review, prioritization, drive to resolution-problem management, monitor SLA’s, follow up on escalations, customer satisfaction, ticket backlog, ageing, etc.)
- Working closely with Principals, Operations and Delivery Domain Leads:
- In ensuring operations activities stability and propose improvements for more efficient and effective use of IT systems within Business processes.

- A background in defining complex solutions for integrated enterprise software landscape having the Blue Yonder application - Demand: Demand Planning, Industry Cloud Offering: Statistical Forecasting for Manufacturing, Consensus Planning, Demand management; Supply: ESP - Enterprise Supply Planning, Network modeling, Inventory planning, Distribution Planning, Production Planning, Order Promising; Integrated Business S&OP Planning: Demand 360
- Relevant domain experience (Demand & Supply Planning) with an excellent track record in project implementations and/or IT operations preferably across multiple countries.
- Exceptional problem-solving and sound-decision making capabilities, recognized by alternative solutions, and confident, accurate, decision-making coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to organize and lead meetings, set out actions and perform progress control on deliverables. Be the escalation point for issues which are raised by project team members.
- Adept at translating business process requirements into IT requirements and functional designs, and guiding the IT solution towards business implementation.
- Hands on experience with PL/SQL
Nice-to-have skills:- Experience with Oracle SCM EBS applications is a plus
- Knowledge of ITIL on Incident, Problem, Change, Service Level, and Configuration Management is a plus.
