Canon Europe are looking for a B2B Salesforce Lead, in this role you be the end-to-end owner for B2B salesforce platform and primary contact point.
You will:
- Lead frequent reviews of system capabilities. Oversee business requirements and drive forward system maintenance and functional development with IT. Recommend and implement best practice across functions to ensure business needs are met.
- Maintain price books in the system and coordinate change requests together with central pricing and IT teams as well as updates new items.
- Develop and deploy comprehensive training and support to users (ie BDMs).Create relevant training material and knowledge transfer. Coach system users.
- Provide insights on existing sales lead, monitor opportunity lifecycle evolution and communicate updates regularly to B2B sales teams and leadership
- Lead end-to-end improvement process and drives actions to optimise the process based on business needs. Act as thought leader, providing strategic insights and recommendations on B2B Salesforce advancements to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Conduct periodic data integrity reviews with data/BI team. Ensure consistent governance together with B2B teams and establishes data quality standards/procedures to ensure system reliability
- Collect and define reporting needs from sales teams. Create reports, update dashboards, and work with data/BI team to implement automated reporting solutions that meet needs for B2B sales teams
- Act as primary contact for ITCG B2B sales teams regarding B2B salesforce platform by addressing and solving issues. Communicates with internal stakeholders ensuring alignment on system capabilities and improvements
- Support the wider team on overall budget process from a system point of view (ie Demantra)
- Develop and lead specific programs to ensure tickets raised are followed up on and escalated to relevant IT resource where appropriate. Guides system specialist with IT change requests procedures (removing roadblocks and focusing on efficiency)

Salary: between £56,473 and £68,040 dependent on experience plus 10% bonus

What we ask
Extensive Salesforce experience in a similar role.
Experiences with CRM, Oracle and/or Demantra system may be of advantage
Strong technical person who can handle complex systems and processes / workflows
Strong B2B sales acumen and customer service ethos
Good experience with requirements gathering and strategic prioritisation as well as project management
Good experience developing end-user training / coaching others
Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support sales growth.
You will need
- Strong ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally & externally and built strong relationships with other teams
- A logical approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
