As a Cyber Security Professional, you will be responsible with the day to day identifying, investigating, and responding to IT Security incidents. You will be a part of the proactive security activities, such as vulnerability management, and suggesting/implementing continuous improvements. As a Cyber Security Operations Professional, you will be:
Responsible for day to day security monitoring, response and remediation activities:
- Security incident handling
- Running, troubleshooting and administration of security services such as IDS/IPS, Anti-Virus, URL filtering, anti-phishing, XDR etc.
- Vulnerability scanning and advising on remediation
- Stakeholder in security related projects
- Monitoring dashboards to measure quality of the service
- Proactively identifying security-related issues and risks, systems misconfigurations and potential security improvements.
Managing and monitoring efficient and effective implementation / execution / reporting of operational security:
- Security related SOX controls/reporting and KPIs
- Ensuring service level based on requirements of IT Quality & Governance & Information Security, monitoring the real time security Intelligence service to Prevent, Detect, Respond To, and Predict Cyberattacks
- Monitoring all EIT managed services and configurations are compliant
with security baselines. Identifying and remediating discovered exceptions
Serving as operational contact for external supplier(s) delivering (part
of) the end-to-end security service - Timely and structurally implementing improvements and making visible to major security and EIT stakeholders
- Continuously monitoring threat landscape and running proactive threat
hunts across Canon EMEA
What we ask
As a Cyber Security Operations Professional, you will need:
Must-have skills:
- Hands-on experience in security operations, mainly detect and response activity
- Practical experience with Forensic investigations
- Experience with vulnerability and threat management activities
- Practical experience with security technologies like SIEM, EDR, IDS\IPS, AV etc.
- Understanding of Private, Public and Hybrid cloud concepts
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Ability to gain new knowledge in a non-structured way
- Team player
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Any other languages considered advantageous including: French, German, Italian, Spanish
Nice-to-have skills:
- Industry-recognised certification (CISSP\CISM or similar)
- Knowledge of network security
- Knowledge of international security standards, such as: ISO 27001, CIS Top 20, OWASP Top 10, SOX, ISF SOGP.
