Job Purpose and Summary

Canon Sales & Marketing IT team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Business IT consultant. You will be working on all the major products offered by Salesforce like Lightning, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Billing and Experience Cloud. Plus on various AppExchange packages installed. You will be working with the SAFe agile methodology to execute changes during discovery and build phase, and also going to execute/support deployments during test phase. You will be part of a team executing projects/changes of Salesforce and connected business systems. We are an Agile team with Architect, Business IT Consultants, Developers and Testers. Next to project delivery you will also drive adoption for the capabilities in the domain.

As a Senior Salesforce Business IT Consultant:

  • You are going to design, build and deploy solutions to support existing and new features. This is close cooperation with SI partners
  • You are going to execute solution quality reviews of peers and external contractors
  • You are going to work with teams within Canon IT to build integration with Salesforce and also going to be point of contact for connected business systems.
  • You are going to be point of contact as level 3 for any support queries from support team 
  • You will be responsible for changes to Custom specific components, technical consultation, doing POCs and executing them during build phase.
  • You may also be called upon to share your knowledge and solutions with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • You will be in close contact with Business stakeholders to understand their requirements, but also to help drive adoption.

What we ask

Required:

  • Bachelors or Masters in engineering or equivalent
  • 7 years salesforce experience
  • Experience with Salesforce platform technology stacks like Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web components and configuration items like flow, 
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid Agile project methodologies and experience with managing multiple teams as Technical lead.
  • Experience in defining environment and branching strategy and setting up CICD pipeline using SFDX CLI
  • Experience with developing and defining integration strategy using SOAP and RESP API.
  • Experience with handling Large Data Volumes and define data migration strategies for large scale transition projects
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred:

  • Salesforce certified system architect
  • Platform developer II certified
  • Revenue cloud specialist
