Job Purpose and Summary

The Candidate will lead the development and growth of the printing products category business across CMET (Canon Middle East & Turkey) markets by fulfilling the role of product champion for all business development, marketing and sales activities in cooperation with DRBG HQ, Sales Team, Marketing Team, CCMS Team & Partners.

Product Management Core Fundamentals

  • Ownership of comprehensive budgeting & MTP exercise
  • Managing Category Profitability for all Printing Product Groups; monitoring P&L reports
  • Defining, developing & establishing segment-wise, country-wise, channel-wise product strategies (GTM)
  • Responsible for Product Launches, preparing & conducting full-fledged Product Trainings & Seminars - Internal (Sales) & External (T1, T2 & End-User)
  • Managing Product Positioning, Price Mapping, Existing & New Products’ Pricing along with competition analysis
  • Responsible for Product Administration & periodic evaluations in alignment with Regulatory & Localization team
  • Forecasting, Planning & Allocation of stocks to respective sales divisions & regions based on appropriate logic of budgets, orders, profitability & market dynamics
  • Regular meetings, negotiations & planning with HQ on Product Supports & Marketing supports in accordance with market conditions & requirements
  • Managing Tactical Actions/Product Supports to Sales based on market dynamics, competition, stock levels & strategic initiatives

 Product Marketing

  • Planning & delivering product-wise marketing strategies, campaigns, promotions, schemes and other market actions
  • Budgeting, mapping, planning, forecasting, accruing, spending, monitoring & tracking of marketing budgets for each Printing Product Groups
  • Following system approvals, monitoring & tracking of marketing expenses in liaison with rest of the marketing team

 Business Performance Tracking

  • Monthly tracking of key strategic objectives for each Product Group
  • Stock monitoring internally (SLM management, Stock Incoming alignment with Demand Planning) & Externally (T1 & T2 stock analysis)
  • HQ alignment, reporting & periodic consensus meetings
  • Product wise, Country-wise, Channel wise MASH monitoring and analysis (GFK, IDC, Futuresource, T2 reports)
  • Market visits & travelling to various T1, T2 partners & end-users based on market requirement in coordination with respective sales teams

Process, Data Management & Reporting

  • Ensuring smooth & efficient product performance with periodic evaluation, assessment and adequate measures
  • Managing Product Localization including cost monitoring, reporting, accruals & claims (Homologation, Inspection, etc)
  • Monthly monitoring of Sales Support Accruals & Credit Notes for each T1 for their respective Product Groups (incl. system approvals)
  • Price & support management with system uploads, monitoring and approvals
  • Product wise Country-wise T1 & T2 wise Sales monthly monitoring and analysis
  • Regular monitoring of product invoicing - T1 level; N, N+2 system orders for respective Product Groups
  • Providing customized templates to sales team to fill in their monthly requirement of products based on demand & market conditions
  • Monthly reporting for management, HQ and other internal stakeholders
  • Active Participation in various company events & Business Unit meetings

What we ask

  • Overall 10+ years experience and 3+ years in product manager role
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Knowledge of Arabic & Turkish an advantage
  • Familiarity with MS Office Applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
