Job Purpose and Summary

Sales through digital channels are a key part of our growth strategy. 

Our goal is to deliver a best-in-class Canon shopping experience on the Amazon platform, through engaging, optimised product content and seamless purchase journey. 

Part of the ITCG (Information Technology and Communications Group) retail team focused on B2C and B2B customer marketing, the Retail Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing SEO optimised content, tracking its performance, and make the relevant adjustments with the overall goal of increasing Canon’s product visibility and conversion rates on Amazon across EU9(Language skills desirable). 

The role requires a strong understanding and experience of Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon SEO, e-commerce, and web best practices

Success will be measured against organic search performance on generic terms and sales increase.

Amazon Catalogue Management Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive Amazon organic SEO strategies, aligning them with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Liaise with Amazon Account Director, escalating and following up cases, resolving listing and account issues, discussing deals and promotions opportunities
  • Collaborate with the paid search and media team to maximise synergy between organic and paid.

Catalogue Management:

  • Own the ASIN creation process, including creation of variation listings with Parent and Child relationships.
  • Responsible for creating, testing, monitoring, and continually optimizing the brand store, product pages, and A+ content for existing and new products in all marketplaces to drive traffic and sales.
  • Develop A/B and MVT testing strategies for content optimisation. Formulate learnings and share them with the wider digital community.
  • Maintain and update product information for all marketplaces in Vendor Central.
  • Stay up to date with Amazon listing policies, guidelines, and terms of service.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise and communicate with Amazon Seller Support to find solutions as needed to ensure all products are listed correctly.
  • Copywriting and proof-reading content to ensure accuracy and performance.

Agency Management:

Plan, lead and collaborate with external agencies in a timely and effective manner.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyse ASIN visibility, performance and share of voice.
  • Use data-driven insights to assess marketing performance and make informed decisions to optimize campaigns and increase ROI.

Competitive Analysis:

Monitor and analyse competitors' activities, prices, and trends to identify opportunities and threats in the market.

Budget Management:

Manage marketing budgets effectively, making data-driven decisions to allocate resources for maximum impact.

Salary: between £37,931 and £44,625 dependent on experience plus 10% bonus

What we ask

  • Significant experience working with Amazon Catalogue Management.
  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon's listing requirements and errors and how to correct them (suppressed listings, incomplete listings, pricing errors, trademark issues, brand authorizations etc).
  • Knowledge of the full ASIN creation process, including creation of variation listings with Parent and Child relationships.
  • Hands on experience in maintaining products in Amazon and other European marketplaces.
  • Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrable competency in organizational and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party Agencies/partners.
  • Adept at copywriting and proof-reading content to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Proficiency in using Jungle Scout, Stack line, Helium10 and MS Office.
  • English fluency in speaking and writing is a must, knowledge of any other European language is desirable.

Further Information

The role requires a strong understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon SEO, e-commerce, and web best practices. Applications failing to meet these requirements will not be considered.

Salary: £37,931 - £44,625 depending on experience plus 10% annual bonus and excellent benefits.
Location: Stockley Park, Uxbridge
This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
