Job Purpose and Summary

Canon EMEA is looking for a Digital Data Analyst to join their Digital Strategy & Operations Department.

In this role you will be responsible for overall tagging, analysis, reporting and insights generation using Google Analytics & Tealium for Canon’s B2C e-Commerce sites across EMEA.

The main focus of this role will be around digital channels and website, with the main tool being Google Analytics, so experience in GA4 is essential.

Salary: between £37,931 and £44,625 dependent on experience plus 10% bonus

What we ask

As Digital Data Analyst your tasks will include:

  • Digital Analytics Leadership: Lead the digital analytics efforts, ensuring robust understanding of web analytics, mobile platforms, and online trends.
  • Data Capture and Analysis: Oversee tagging, data capture, and sales reporting utilizing Google Analytics, ensuring comprehensive insights into Canon’s B2C e-Commerce sites across EMEA.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track and report sales performance for various product groups and segments, offering top-line commentary and actionable insights.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Develop self-served tools and dashboards for E-commerce & Content team to provide analysis and recommendations based on requirements from e-Commerce teams, product management, and support our local countries in EMEA in driving site enhancements and optimising user experience.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of conversion rates by segments, identifying opportunities for journey improvements and site enhancements.
  • Audience Management: Create and maintain audiences in Tealium AudienceStream, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Leverage Tealium iQ and Tealium EventStream to best support Marketing, CRM and Content team strategies.
  • Tealium Expertise: Leverage Tealium iQ and Tealium EventStream to best support Marketing & CRM and Content team strategies.
  • Support with tracking and reporting for the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) programme.
  • Technical Support and Implementation: Support new functionality implementation, gathering requirements, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring seamless tagging implementation and maintenance.
  • Taxonomy Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining taxonomy and product categorization to uphold data integrity and accuracy, working closely with different business departments to have aligned and integrated taxonomy.
  • Insights Delivery: Deliver insights pre and post new functionality deployment to track performance against business goals.
  • Promotion Analysis: Track, analyse, and report on e-Commerce promotions, key product launches, and other events driving revenue and enhancing UX/CX goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Audit tracking quality and data outcomes, providing guidelines for improvement to ensure data accuracy.
  • Cross-Device Tracking: Set up cross-device tracking in Google Analytics and provide insights on customer behaviour patterns.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on GA usage and handle ad-hoc queries to enable self-service among teams.
  • Personal Development: Take ownership of personal development, investing time in enhancing knowledge and business expertise.

You will need

As a Digital Data Analyst you show:

  • Significant experience as a Web/Digital Analyst, preferably in an e-Commerce environment.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics (UA & GA4), Google Tag Manager, Python, and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Big Query, Looker Studio, Looker, and Tealium iQ Tag Management, Tealium Event Management, Tealium AudienceStream.
  • Experienced user of Salesforce Customer Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experienced in Data Visualisation using Looker, Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong passion for data analysis, insight generation, and data visualization.
  • Exceptional analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams.
  • Ideally educated to graduate level

Further Information

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Our offices are based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
