The role is working a 5 week rolling shift over a 24 hours and 7 day operation. Please note the 5 week shift work pattern in the advert to check you are able to work the rota hours and you have your own transport, if required as public transport is not available in the area for some of the shift rotas.
Internal to Canon this role is known as a Resource Planner. Your role is to support the field based service engineer/technician teams who fix our printing devices for Canon's business customers. .

You will be part of a dedicated team who sit in our Resource Planning department, with responsibility for planning the availability of Field Engineers to ensure resources are correctly allocated and carry out call despatch, including call intake and call closure when required.
Part of the role is to liaise with our internal parts supplier and also third-party suppliers to obtain parts when required.

You will have previous experience in a planning role and a good understanding of scheduling methods. A good knowledege of the geography of the UK is a beneficial but not essential.

You will need to be able to have excellent communication, verbal, written and spoken. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload. Have the ability to make decisions quickly and sometimes with limited supervision ( training will be given on Canon's processes and procedures). Reliable and customer service centric. #LI-SNB
Salary - £18,112 - £19,118. 24/7 Shift Work + 12.5% Shift Allowance + 5% bonus per Annum

WK1 Nights 10pm - 6am Mon – Fri, Saturday and Sunday Off
Wk2 Afternoons 2pm – 10pm Mon- Fri, Saturday and Sunday Off
Wk3 Earlies 6am to 2pm Mon – Fri, Sat & Sunday Night Shift 6pm to 6am both days
WK4 Rest Week Mon – Fri, Sat- Sunday Day Shift 6am to 6pm both days
WK 5 Standby for Mon to Sun 7 days to cover either sickness or holiday
