To Manage and lead the Operational and Strategic aspects of the Sales department ensuring all objectives of the Mid Term Plan (MTP) are delivered. (Financial, Customer, Process and People).
To act as Project Manager for all Sales initiatives, leading the Sales team towards achieving their targets (including working towards processes that assist to enhance the performance of the team)
Provide Leadership for the Sales team, developing next generation talent and the best sales force in the market.

The Candidate will be responsible for:
Deliver the MTP for Sales.
Forecast and oversee the budgeting for Sales with specific responsibility for Sales, GP, Expense Control, P&L and A/R Control. Coordinate submissions from CBS - SALES team to ensure that all budgets are completed with appropriate detail and within set deadlines.
Establish measure and monitor Sales KPIs reporting regularly to GM.
Oversee and monitor the setting of forecasts, mid-month estimates, payment and stock management in coordination with the Sales Team and liaising with relevant Area Sales Manager (ASM) and Product Manager (PM) in CME.
Manage business partners through the Sales team attending meetings when required, support team in planning visits to ensure appropriate agendas are set and maximum benefit is derived from the visit.
Ensure compliance with regulatory laws. through the CBS - Sales team
Support business development through training initiatives, road shows and seminars run by the CME or the CBS – Sales team.
Liaise with CME to ensure that intelligence is shared and communicated to Canon Saudi.
Oversee and monitor all Market Research and Analysis related activities for sales to ensure that budgets are used appropriately and are in line with CME strategy and objectives.
Communicate the Canon Strategy and message to the sales team to convey a unified message to the external world.
Contribute towards the synergy between Marketing, Service and Sales departments to ensure coordinated planning and execution of all department plans and initiatives.
Develop sales business through diversified business models; tenders / channels etc. in conjunction with GM
Management of direct sales team through continuous support and coaching. Responsible for agreeing KPIs, objectives, budgets.

- Relevant recognized formal qualifications (university level) - desirable.
Experience of heading a Sales and/or Marketing function within a multi-national for at least 10 years – essential.
Relevant experience in Sales for related industry - essential.
Previous proven experience of developing departmental and organizational strategies in line with the overall company objectives - essential.
Professional appearance, attitude and communication style - essential.
Fluency in written and spoken English and knowledge of Arabic - essential.
Familiarity with MS Office, Email and Internet - essential.
