As an Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts. This will include compilation of records from source documentation, coding and posting of client records onto BDO accountancy software through to full accounts preparation
o Process transactions, prepare and post journals, update ledgers, perform bank reconciliation and cash book analysis as required to complete reporting processes.
o Coding and posting of client records onto BDO accountancy software for year-end accounts process.
o Completion of supporting workbook schedules to the accounts.
o Completion of quality review and handover work-plan checklist.
o Ad-hoc assignments as required.
o Working efficiently and as part of a team to deliver work on a timely basis and to the required standard.
o Ensure all team needs are met in regards to answering queries promptly.
o Updates manager regularly with progress reports.
o Well organised and planned.
