BDO’s Healthcare Advisory Practice work with clients to provide innovative and exciting solutions to health and care organisations to improve service delivery, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes  helping to deliver a sustainable model of care for the future. The team works with providers in tertiary, secondary, community, primary and private healthcare settings across acute, mental and community care. We also work with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and commissioning support suppliers. Increasingly our work is focusing on the challenges facing  whole health economies, the integration of health and social care services and financial/operational performance improvement in different provider settings, and we are proud to be working with a number of Vanguard sites supporting new models of care delivery. We also provide commissioning support through the eMBED Consortium on the Lead Provider Framework.
Our projects cover areas such as system transformation, strategy, performance improvement, leadership development, governance, primary care development, option appraisal and business case development, performance improvement and cost reduction.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with senior members within the Healthcare team, assisting in the timely delivery of consulting services to clients. You will be working in project based teams, supporting the development and delivery of our methodologies and products and securing new engagements. You will continually be presented with opportunities to challenge yourself in a supportive and commercial environment.

1+ years of experience & knowledge of working within or working with the UK health and care system; and 2+ years of health consultancy or advisory experience.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective problem solving skills and ideally expertise in one or more of the following areas:  public sector finances, NHS provider performance improvement, data analytics, experience of working in an NHS setting, health economics, transformation, organisational development and primary care development.
