Overview:
The role is for a management accountant working as part of a larger team that provides an outsourced accounting service to an international hotel chain for their UK hotels. Ideally the successful candidate will be AAT qualified but experience will also be considered.




Responsibilities:
Assisting more senior members of the team with
- Balance sheet reconciliations e.g. bank accounts, accounts receivable, wages accounts, prepayments etc.

- Dealing with queries from the hotels

- Preparing VAT returns

- Maintaining asset registers
Posting journals and other transactions into the accounting system
Being responsible for the monthly review and reporting of a small number of hotels




Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Well organised
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Committed to delivering what is requested and being able to flag any issues at an early stage
- Has strong time keeping discipline
- Listens to and acts on the advice of others
- Works well in a team
- Proactive in managing own learning and development
- Able to prioritise and manage tasks set
- Open to feedback from others
