A newly created unqiue and high profile opportunity has arisen here at BDO LLP.




Workshops

  • Contributing and assisting with the design and facilitation of the innovation builder workshops and core purpose workshops (as an example).

 

Central strategy planning

  • Helping with the 6 monthly BUILD collaboration meetings, coordinating and preparing content.  Working with the Director of strategic development and comms director.

  • Helping manage the central slide decks making changes where necessary

  • Attending the comms/strategy roadshows – taking notes.

 

Leaders conferences

  • Project management of the leaders conferences (likely to be full time in September and October)

  • Management of the administration of the conferences (delegates, JI’s, app, attendees), working with external providers eg presentation factor and others (small administrative team)

  • Project managing the content which is determined by the director of strategy development and the core project team

  • Collating post conference feedback.

 

Ad hoc

  • Responding to ad hoc requests from the Director of strategic development eg recent champion calls, assisting with the 6 monthly engagement packs, updating central project plans, assisting with meeting agenda for ad hoc catch ups.




Skills

  • Attention to detail (vital for conference role)

  • Ability to develop strong relationships to develop an internal network of contacts

  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Ability to think strategically (bigger picture and horizon scan)

  • Interested in wider reading to bring insights and remain relevant

  • Able to prioritise

  • Project management skills – multi tasking, delivery, identification of milestonesOK

  • Influencing skills both upward and with peers.

 

Qualifications/experience

  • Relevant experience in a professional service firm helpful

  • Experience in strategy helpful

  • Project management qualification helpful

  • Degree educated desirable but not essential

  • Relevant work experience essential.
