The purpose of this role is to engage and communicate with the business across allocated business units to the appropriate level for the business unit. The role will be both a point of escalations for service delivery issues as well as an engagement for proactive IT Support. Essentially operating as th e sales team for the IT function they will be responsible for the business unit’s impression of the IT team.

The role will also be required to perform as both PM and BA for some of the smaller agile Mode 2 engagements from the aligned business unit into the IT function. 

· Manage relationships with IT, business units. Maintaining open lines of communication with all parties from both a service delivery as well as proactive IT requests.

· Consult with business unit’s and review IT usage, services, technology, and department specific projects in order to identify, forecast and develop IT needs. Utilise the adoption and business change function to insure the IT solution and service are embedded within the business unit.

· Be the voice of the business on both project and service delivery.

· Serve as liaison with the Information Technology (IT) department for the business unit help them navigate the IT function

· To continually understand the business needs and pressures and help to educate the rest of the IT function. 

· Knowledge and experience:

· Demonstrate extensive experience in the IT industry with expertise in areas of Business engagement including Project management and business analysis.

· Experience of working in professional services organisation preferably partnerships.

· Good knowledge of BDO products and services advantageous. This includes IT and Business services.

· Demonstrate a full understanding of the business problems and pressures articulating how IT can help


· People/Team Management

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including active listening

· Ability to identify and analyse alternative approaches to dealing with issues and problems.

· Demonstrates commitment to the firm’s values 

· Empower others by collaborating on joint ideas and encourages others to view change as a positive process
