We don’t just fix leaks, we try to stop them before they happen. High pressure in water mains can lead to more leaks and bursts, in recent years we've invested over £3 million on water pressure management. The employees in our Water Leakage Teams work around the clock to ensure we continue to drive down our leakage levels.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Leakage Targeting Analyst to join our Water Services team based at our Head Office in Huntingdon.
The population is growing year on year, but here at Anglian Water, we still provide the same amount of water today as we did in 1990, almost 1.2 billion litres every single day. We do this by encouraging our customers to minimise waste and work with the latest advances in technology to reduce leaks.
As the Leakage Targeting Analyst you will work with data from flow and pressure sensors on our water network to help identify when and where leaks happen and to report the total volume of water lost. The data you provide will ensure that our leakage technicians are deployed to the right areas to allow targets to be achieved in the most cost effective and efficient way possible.
This crucial role will see you producing and analysing high quality reports for our regulators and the wider business.
It’s essential that you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. You’ll need to have a high degree of attention to detail, have the ability to work on your own, use your initiative and have an organised and structured approach to your work. Previous experience of data analysis and interpretation is desirable.
Good communication skills are essential as you will be expected to feedback results to the business.
If you are offered a job with us, you will be subject to the relevant/standard employment checks, including: your right to work in the UK, reference, driving licence and identity check. Depending on your role, you may also be subject to a criminal record check and a drug and alcohol test.
Interviews will take place on 4 and 5 July.
