As a key member of the pricing team, you will be responsible for building and managing price across Commercial Lines, using both data and judgement to improve pricing capability at Allianz. The Team are responsible for Pricing across multiple lines of Commercial Insurance covering; Mid Corporate, Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), Fleet, Engineering, Construction and Power (EC&P) and Motor Trade.

Pricing plays a key role in the delivery of Allianz Strategy and you will be required to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. This will include continuing to meet Allianz’s Global technical pricing standards, delivery of end to end price improvement and advancing the application of data and analytics within pricing.

As an innovative and progressive pricing department, there will be opportunities to continue to enhance the teams ethos. This role also has the opportunity to include line management responsibilities to support the development of a small number of analysts within the pricing team.

Please note: we are ideally looking at a start date from September so will be reviewing and interviewing candidates before the closing date, but also welcome candidates on a notice period

To be a success in this role we require you to be a general insurance pricing professional who can demonstrate the following;
• Experience of leading and delivering a pricing project
• Experience of using pricing or actuarial software such as Radar, Earnix, Emblem, ResQ
• Experience using data analysis tools such as R, SQL, SAS (EG or Base), Excel, VBA
• Experience building relationships with technical and non-technical insurance audiences
• Experience in managing technical change within general insurance, with consideration of the required technical process and governance
• You will be qualified to degree level and have a high degree of numerical ability.
