We are looking for a Human Factor Specialist to join one of our leading customers in the Oil and Gas market for an exciting project.
The main responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Human Factor Studies and analysis as required in the project. Follow up of Human factors in engineering.
Manage human factors contribution to HMI development design and documentation including:
-Safety and Automation System development and verification. Close co-operation with ongoing SAS upgrade project must be expected.
-Specification for other HMI systems (e.g. LSD, CAP and CCTV)
-Alarm system development and verification
-Design development of new helicopter control center (HTCC)
Ensure that the design is in accordance with relevant standards and requirements
Ensure that the human factors discipline is integrated and coordinated with other relevant engineering disciplines
Ensure and contribute to experience transfer from own and other relevant projects
Ensure that operational experiences are systematically included and documented
Ensure alignment with the customer’s requirement
Proactively market and communicate the human factors solutions within the project
At least 5 years relevant experience with management of HMI design processes in Oil and Gas Industry.
Expertise in Human Factors engineering. Brownfield projects experience is an advantage.
"Self-going" and able to identify, initiate and carry out HF studies which are considered relevant and required for the project.
Experience with Norwegian Authority regulations is an advantage
Familiarity with relevant Statoil technical requirements is an advantage
