Manages the daily implementation of Global Information security services and processes. Interprets strategies and business requirements to create strategic/ operational plans based on direction from Clusters or Global Information Security Head.



The successful candidate will implement and assist setting the targets for Information Security and Information Risk Management for Nokia Siemens Networks in accordance with customer requirements, industry standards and legal requirements. Monitors performance and the implementation of information security services.

Develops and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry colleagues, as well as with government authorities.



Carries out various types of risk assessments/reviews on key business processes and recommend corrective actions.
Maintains working relationship with government authorities to ensure company compliance of government regulations and directives.  
Coaches region/cluster teams to deal with the rapid changes in order to align information security strategy and service with business and legal/regulatory needs.
Supporting customer requirements for Information Security compliance in pre-bid related activities.
Ensures continued compliance with ISO27001 and other relevant standards.
Information security related investigations together with other stakeholders.
Information Security awareness among employees and promotion of Elearning awareness.
Identifies development opportunities and provide best practice inputs into development of Corporate Health, Safety and Security services, solutions, processes and tools.
Ensures implementation and use of new HSS solutions and processes in a consistent way in co-operation with other Corporate Functions, including efficient communication and change management.
Cooperation with IT in devising and implementing new solutions and related roadmaps
Liaises with customers, business management, industry-wide joint groups, security and law enforcement agencies as well as governments officials.
Assessment of key collaborators for IT, Information Security compliance to NSN standard processes



A manager with sound practical understanding of global business under cultural diversities is essential.  
Understanding of business, experience in similar domain preferably telecom industry, prior expertise in IT/ Information Security, ability to work in virtual environment, strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of telecommunications industry and compliance, experience with implementation of security policies in an international environment. Strong experience in Information Security Systems Management and/or Auditing, with a demonstrated track record of measurable accomplishments related to the requirements of this position.  Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Computer Sciences. Certifications in Information Security/ IT security (CISSP/CISA etc.) and for Business Continuity (BS25999, ABCP/CBCP etc.) are an advantage.  Familiar with ISO27000 series, SAS70, PCI-DSS and other relevant information security standards. Knowledge on data protection and privacy legislation its implementation. Fluency in written and spoken English is required; a second or third language is an advantage.
