Job Purpose

Provision of an in-depth analytical service for the Stansted Airport business, customers and service partners, ensuring that Stansted's performance is monitored to provide measurement against agreed standards and key business indicators.
Administer action plans to improve operational performance and punctuality, influencing key stakeholders to ensure that actions are completed .
Support the MAG Planning team as airport specific Safeguarding officer.
Support the Airport Wildlife Habitat Management team


Principal Accountabilities

Coordinate a Performance Improvement Plan to ensure actions are carries out and monitoring systems are in place.

Develop analytical tools and databases to provide senior management with performance-critical information. This includes:
Service Partner performance including Air Navigation Services
Airline performance
Operational performance against agreed service standards

Airport Safeguarding Officer processing application as required within CAP232.

Assist the Airport Wildlife Manager with audits, meeting and data collation.

Coordinate and manage the collection of operationally related data from across the business, ensuring it is robust in its methodology to provide consistent information.

Establish systems and databases for information capture and interpretation, undertake in-depth analysis to seek and establish trends, inter dependencies and areas for improved performance.

Utilise data to monitor operational performance against agreed service levels identifying any deviations. Through close liaison with both internal and external operational units seek potential causes and solutions in support of senior management decision making and business planning processes.

Ensure deliverance of operations reports to enable first class communication with airlines. services partners and other stakeholders.

Administer actions and strategies to increase operational performance.

Support the Compliance Monitoring Process.

Seek methods of managing data validation with a view to improving accuracy of reporting and analysis.

Provide validated FEGP use data for Handling Agent and Airline invoicing

Manage the compliant mandatory reporting or airport operational data to the CAA (AVSTATS).

Manage airport SQC planning and reporting in relation to Stand Availability

Manage airport SQC planning and reporting in relation to Pier Service



Knowledge, Skills & Experience

High level of competency with MS Office applications, especially Excel
Experience of producing statistical reports
Knowledge of airport safeguarding process
Knowledge airport wildlife and habitat management processes
Working knowledge of Business Information databases such as Oracle BI
Good understanding of, and experience in, aircraft and/or airfield operations
First class analytical skills and the ability to present results in written or verbal form to a varied audience
Ability to become an expert in Business Intelligence development
